Formerly known as the Mondrian Hotel, Sea Containers is situated on the banks of the River Thames along the vibrant South Bank. The hotel offers unique balcony suites overlooking the river.
The hotels interiors are inspired by world famous British designer Tom Dixon and capture 1920’s cruise ship glamour mixed with modern and sophisticated design.

The Mondrian Hotel was rebranding under the new name Sea Containers and the company needed a website that reflected this rejuvenation. The goal was to reposition Sea Containers as an aspirational brand that mirrored the world famous Mondrian Hotel.
The new site and digital strategy needed to encompass an engaging experience which guided users through to accommodation and restaurant booking conversions. The redesign was looking to capture emotion in such a way that it would inspire new users to visit but also entice old guests to return.
New online booking functionality need to be incorporated for the accommodation and the in-house restaurant and bars areas.

OpenTable is an online restaurant reservation software solution. The program was successfully integrated to allow for on site restaurant and bar bookings. This allowed for the customer to enquire through the site and confirm their preferred time and date through the online application. This allowed for a quick and flawless user experience.
Since the website launch in 2019, core statistics have had an extremely positive effect including a 34% overall conversion increase in restaurant and accommodation bookings.
