Ports 1961 is a Canadian luxury fashion company that was founded by Canadian fashion designer Luke Tanabe in Toronto in 1961. The brand specialises in luxury ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for both men and women.
The global brand started with Tanabe importing silk from Japan to the new world which then expanded into a luxury womenswear label. From this, Ports gained a reputation for simplicity and high quality items. The same ethos that they have carried into the 21st century.

The following project goals were put in place:
The primary goal for Ports was to introduce effective online sales. With a developed knowledge of the brand and user experience in mind, the best practices and standards in eCommerce were implemented to guarantee the site success.
Designs were fully responsive in light of the rise of mobile commerce and globally adaptive.
The sticky navigation and site architecture provide multiple paths to purchase and enable customers to shop across various different category content types. This allows the user to explore the full product offering.
In rethinking the overall digital experience of Ports, the brand was transitioned from a static online presence into an established eCommerce and product-led company.
Since the launch of the website in late 2019, core statistics have had an extremely positive increase including website traffic and eCommerce product purchases.
