Verb Brands is a full-service luxury digital agency specialising in brand growth, awareness and revenue across the Fashion, Hospitality and Lifestyle sectors.

Brief

Verb was coming into its sixth year as an award-winning luxury digital agency and needed a full-service redesign and content update.

With the recent company merge with DBD Media, it was clear that the company was moving in a new direction. Verb needed to define a new strategy, messaging framework, and visual identity.

New service lines were introduced including Performance Marketing (PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic Display), SEO and Influencer Marketing. The website needed to showcase its work across the Fashion, Hospitality and Lifestyle space.

Strategy

The site redesign strategy revolved around boosting conversions and sales inquiries. Starting with data, the site was analysed for key metrics such as conversion, bounce rates and time spent on pages.

Competitor research allowed for review of effective sites and how they surprise and delight users. Sitemap and wireframes then built out to get an idea of website hierarchy and improving user experience and website flow before moving into visual design.

Experience

One of the foremost goals in redesigning the Verb site was to craft a completely intuitive experience. Convenience was extremely important; the site had to be functional and easy to use.

Usability and accessibility was a priority and were included throughout the project. These core attributes were discussed throughout the design process.

Subtle animations, responsive queries, page routing, and smooth scrolls guide users effortlessly through the site.

Data driven design

A positive exploration experience through data-driven design was paramount. Both behavioral and emotional takeaways through impression led testing allowed for the creation of a hyper-personalised design system that can grow with the company and adapt to the companies needs.

Since the website launch in late 2019, core statistics have had an extremely positive effect showcasing a site that can effectively and positively grow with the company and adapt to its needs.
